About Us

Rooted in Respect. Centered on You.

Phoenix Rising is a trauma-responsive mental health clinic that takes a human-first approach to therapy. We’re not a traditional practice — and that’s intentional. Our team is here to walk beside you on your healing journey, offering care that’s personalized, flexible, and deeply respectful of your story and identity.

We don’t just treat symptoms — we help individuals reclaim hope, restore confidence, and build a life rooted in resilience, empowerment, and connection.

A Different Kind of Mental Health Care

At Phoenix Rising, we believe therapy should feel collaborative and human—not clinical or cold. We use evidence-based modalities like EMDR, somatic therapies, and mindfulness practices, all while remaining grounded in compassion, curiosity, and consent. Whether you’re navigating anxiety, depression, or life transitions, we’ll work together in a way that feels right for you.
🌟 Our Mission

To create a safe, welcoming environment where every person — regardless of background or experience — feels supported in their recovery. Through holistic, trauma-informed care, we help individuals build strength, foster emotional well-being, and reclaim a sense of control.

To lead the way in trauma care by providing integrative, evidence-based mental health services that are accessible, inclusive, and rooted in compassion. We envision a future where trauma is no longer a barrier to living fully.

Growth – We’re committed to continual learning and evolving — both as clinicians and as people.

Support – Clients and staff alike are supported with compassion and care.

Accessibility – We simplify the therapy process and engage in ways that feel natural and inclusive.

Building Strength – Our work helps clients build confidence, resilience, and readiness for life’s challenges.

Our Identity

The Phoenix in the logo symbolizes the rebirth after chaos, through the process of trauma healing. We wanted something that was a symbol of hope, resilience, and the possibility of creating a new life after experiencing the effects of trauma and mental health challenges.

With its head lifted high, the Phoenix glances toward its fully formed turquoise wing, showing a gallant rebirth filled with hope. The other wing, equally important in the narrative, represents the pain, hardship, and scarring that accompany trauma. In all, the logo, along with the name “Phoenix Rising,” represents a community of safety, hope, and resilience. We’re here to show you that healing is possible- even if hope is a four-letter word.
